I write this letter on behalf of my friend and lawyer Charles Kelly, with whom I became acquainted when my small company of about 30 employees was raided by a NASDAQ traded company. It was a bit like David and Goliath in that they were, by comparison, a large company with deep pockets and we were small, and ultimately much smaller after the raid. The raid resulted in the loss of 30 percent of our sales force and office manager. In addition, they offered compensation to our technical manager in exchange for our confidential information. The epilogue to the story is that with the eventual settlement, I was able to rebuild my company into a worldwide entity and then sell it to a much larger company. Charles handled the legal work on the sale, protecting my interests once again.
